  • #if 0 out some dead code in XA and XMP support

    TerminX 3cbb6ad 25 mag, 05:26
    Mostra dettagli

This doesn't look like it's intended to be dead code, but nothing sets Loop.Size anywhere.

  • non-MIDI music is no longer affected by reverb

    TerminX 31bd7eb scritto il 21 mag 2020
  • cleanups and consolidations

    TerminX 09dc0cc scritto il 21 mag 2020
    Mostra dettagli

Zeroing of fields when starting playback moved to common functions, revised allocation of memory for FLAC, Vorbis, XA, and XMP, addition of "snd_lazyalloc" cvar to control reusal of memory blocks allocated for Vorbis, XA, and XMP playback, other misc code cleanup.

  • less nasty looking MV_Voices[] allocation

TerminX 6e54cbb scritto il 20 mag 2020 Fix
    Mostra dettagli

This removes the +2 bytes at the end of the allocation--I checked out the valgrind_errors.log referenced by the deleted comment and it looks like the issue fixed by 2e2e0e3af3378734c4f0b890c6b4d10253628416. This is the commit to revert if weird audio crashes start happening.

  • Introduce support for PlayStation CD-XA audio, a simple ADPCM format.

    Hendricks266 r4268 27 gen, 02:30 Fix
    Mostra dettagli

It's functional, but due to the odd 37.8 KHz nature of the format, I will need to add a resampler to the audiolib to prevent the aliasing artifacts that occur at present. I also hear clicks/pops every so often, but I do not know if a resampler would fix these as well or if they are a separate problem. Note that you cannot directly use the four XA files on the Total Meltdown disc because they each contain eight songs. They would need to be split using a utility I wrote that is outside the scope of this SVN.
